Submitting a project enquiry
When you submit the project form, the information you provide—including your name, email address, project type, business name and project details—is sent to Techloop at hello@techloop.ca through FormSubmit, a third-party form delivery service. FormSubmit processes the submission and forwards it by email. Its service may retain submission data for up to 30 days. See the FormSubmit privacy information. Techloop uses your enquiry to reply and discuss the work you request.
Only submit information you are comfortable sending by email. Do not include passwords, payment card details, health information or other sensitive information.
Enquiry sources and browser storage
To understand which campaigns lead to enquiries, the site may keep campaign labels from a link (such as source, medium and campaign), the landing-page path and the referring website’s domain in your browser’s session storage. This information stays within the current browser tab and is sent with your form only when you submit an enquiry. The site’s form code does not save ad click IDs or full referring URLs. No form answers are saved in browser storage.
The site uses the Google Ads tag to measure page visits and successful project-brief submissions. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers, including information associated with an ad click, and receive standard page, browser, device and event details. When FormSubmit confirms delivery of a project brief, the site sends Google Ads a conversion event; that event does not include your name, email address, business name or form answers. Google processes this information under its privacy policy. The site does not use a Meta/Facebook advertising pixel or embedded social media widgets. Its hosting provider may also process ordinary technical request information, such as an IP address, browser details and the requested page, to deliver and protect the site. FormSubmit processes submitted enquiries as described above.
Website orders and checkout
A website order brief may also include your industry, service area, services, preferred style, domain and links to content you choose to share. These details are delivered to Techloop through FormSubmit with a reference used to match the brief to the order. If you choose to pay, the brief also records the terms version, terms link and the time you accepted them as reported by your browser. An enquiry without payment does not record purchase-terms acceptance. When you continue to an available Stripe checkout, your email and brief reference are passed to Stripe to connect the checkout with your enquiry. Payment details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout, not in Techloop’s form. Stripe processes payment information under its privacy policy. Techloop uses verified payment and order information to fulfil and support your purchase.
Third-party services
Facebook and any email service you use have their own privacy practices. Follow their privacy notices when you use those services. Please do not include passwords, payment card details, health information or other sensitive information in a project enquiry.
